Overview

Cine Shore Rating:
2.5 This explosive fires in parts!

Plot : The film is set in the background of the famous Attukal Pongala. Three friendsRahul (Murali Gopy), Sanjay (Saiju Kurup) and Pradeep (Sreejith Ravi) decide to have some fun when their wives go to celebrate the Pongala festival. The consequences and the situations that they encounter form the rest of the film.

Performances : Saiju Kurup steals the show with good comic timing and Sreejith Ravi impresses too. Murali Gopy is fine while Indrajith has nothing much to do in a cameo of sorts. Anumol does a very good job in her unorthodox role Mythili delivered an average performance while the rest of the cast are fine.

Technical side : The direction and storyline of the film is decent considering that it is the director’s debut. However, the screenplay is a let down and could have been much better. BGMs are good and the cinematography is fine.

Analysis : On the whole, the film has a clean decent first half that makes you wonder why it is certified with an A. The second half answers your doubts as you have a series of double-meaning situations that is in your face. There are no sleazy scenes in the film but the dialogues are bit over the limit. Those who love adult comedies may find it watchable in parts. A better screenplay could have done wonders to the film. The climax is average.
