Baahubali Kerala Rights

S.S Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali’s Kerala rights were sold to Uniter Global Media earlier itself. Though many buyers looked after the movie initially, they backed off due to the hefty price asked by the producers. We hear that the price is around 2.30 crore without Print and Publicity it. Without any second thought, this is the highest amount for any dubbed film in Kerala. Also, the selling price of the movie is somewhat near to what a Tamil film costs like a ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ which was sold for around 2.40 crore. By this United Global Media has emerged as one of the giant buyers in Kerala who earlier did Shankar’s ‘I’ for 5 crore and above. While there are speculations that the amount is higher for a dubbed film one has to wait and see for the luck and forecasting of the buyers who earlier faced similar questions for unimaginable price of ‘I’ before they walked away with super profits.
