Suriya’s Mass, which took a decent to good opening on first day dropped on the second day itself as the reports were disappointing plus the ‘Premam’ juggernaut which took the state on a never seen frenzy this recent. As both the films were contrasting reviews, the major audience of Tamil films, youth slowly shifted to Premam. Thus, from the first weekend the film has grossed around 2.95 Cr. Although this may look big, it is quite a disappointing figure after a huge release count of 140+ screens. The drop is so big that Saturday and Sunday figures on a total is less than day 1.
