Kaththi First Day Kerala Collection

Kaththi takes a huge opening in Kerala : second only to Jilla
Ilayathalapathy Vijay has once again rocked in one of his biggest fort Kerala. A lot was expected over Kaththi being a follower of Thuppakki (which is the biggest after Enthiran in Kerala) and the opening has done justice to the combo. With a release of around 160+ theatres the film did manage heavy occupancies in extra theatres too due to the Croreazy combo. Thus the film has done a whopping gross of 2.25 Crore (Net : 1.75 crore). This is the biggest after Jilla here which grossed around a record 2.60 Crore. It is now that Kaththi has done a fabulous business in minor centres too and yesterday’s Holiday here has done its extra bit.
