With around five multiplex chains playing in Kochi City surroundings the business here has grown multi folded. It has been a new breath for small films which are targeted mainly at a niche audience. Though Dulquer Salmaan and Nivin Pauly are making consistent performances, Prithviraj and Mohanlal showed their pull too for more than two times. others also prove they hold with films of better quality. With Pulimurugan of late, topping the chart with a big lead here is the list of the top 10 grossers at Kochi multiplexes.

N.B : It is to be noted that the biggest grosser here is Hollywood Film ”The Jungle Book” which did around a huge 3.70+ Crore and that is the best when all the languages are considered.
