Will Dileep strike gold this Onam?

After the stupendous success of his last flick Ringmaster, Janapriya Nayakan Dileep is gearing up for his next festival release of the year. The Onam season that already has a Mammootty and Mohanlal film each in the race will also have a Dileep film. The filmtitled ‘Njan Aara Mon’ is a masala entertainer with loads of comedy as is Dileep’s forte. The character’s name played by Dileep in the flick is Chinnan. The film is being directed by Sudeesh Shanker. Dileep’s flicks of this genre are sure bets at the box office with the extraordinary family support that he enjoys. Morever the 2010-2014 phase has been his best in the last decade as almost everything that he has touched is turning to gold as far as the box office performances of his films are concerned.

After the unexpected debacle of the Lal Jose directorial Ezhu Sundara Raatrikal for Christmas 2013, the actor was back to winning ways with the family entertainer Ringmaster. Unlike the previous film which was low on humor, Ringmaster set the cash registers ringing. Dileep’s comic timing and the dogs had enough entertainment value for the flick as the kids as well as the female audiences lapped it up with the youth too giving it a timepass verdict. The film is still going strong at the box office with a decent status on the weekdays while the weekends are having good occupancies. Njan Aara Mon will be competing with 2 mass masala flicks of the Superstars but as well know Dileep has his own set of audiences especially with the families usually preferring his films over other actors. So, will Dileep strike gold this Onam?? We shall have to wait and see. Either way, this Onam season promises to be an absolute cracker indeed.
