Remake time for Venkatesh Image Seems Victory Venkatesh is all set to get back to form with a promising list of movies ahead. The actor who tasted two failures with ‘Shadow’ and ‘Masala’ is now choosing the scripts quite wisely. The actor who has just finished ‘Drushyam’, the remake of Mohanlal starrer Blockbuster ‘Drishyam‘ is now set for another remake soon. This time it will be the remake of ‘Oh My God’ which was a surprise hit of 2012 in Bollywood, starring Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. Powerstar ‘Pawan Kalyan’ will be seen in Akshay Kumar’s role while Shriya Saran will be seen as the heroine opposite Venkatesh. ‘Oh my god’ a satire on present worship projected many social evils like human god and idol worship etc. The original movie which made on a shoestring budget of 20 crore went on to collect above 100 crores worldwide in its final run. Akshay Kumar was one of the producers of the movie. The Telugu version will be directed by Kishore Kumar for Suresh Productions. The young happening music director of Tollywood Anup Rubens will be composing the music for the movie.

Meanwhile, the remake of Drishyam is all set for a release in early July which is being directed by ‘Sripriya’ who recently did ‘Malini 22 Palayamkottai’ which was another remake of Malayalam movie ’22 Female Kottayam’. Meena and Esther Sunil who was apart of original ‘Drishyam’ will be seen along with Venkatesh in ‘Drushyam’. Venkatesh’s last success was in ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ where he starred along with Mahesh Babu.
