Mammootty To Back Off From Shaji Kailas Film?

It was a big ticket news that Mammootty and Mohanlal will be joining for a magnum opus to be directed by ace director Shaji Kailas. To add spice Ranjith and Ranji Panikker got on board to write the script for it. There was a speculation on Mammootty’s nod thereafter, and now it is said that Mammootty has backed off from the project due to some date clashes and pre-commitments. Although an official confirmation is awaited industry sources says it. Now it would be a solo starrer for Mohanlal and the scripting will be changed adhering to that. This will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor for Aashirwad Films.
