White Final Collection

White is not only a huge disaster, but one of the Mammootty’s worst collected films as it grossed a mere 1.07 Crore on its final run. Yes, you read it right..!. The opening was low and it was more or less expected due to the films appeal to the audience. With the word of mouth also remaining very bad, the film couldn’t even get a respectable figure. It was all over for White by Weekend and it started to attain holdoverstatus in most of the stations from Monday. There was literally no chance for White in box office anytime and that was proven by its collections. After spending big bucks, this big budget movie just became a nightmare for Eros, who was just after the success of their low profile movie, Happy Wedding. White which was slated for a Summer release was postponed to Eid and further, which again hampered its fate and with Kasaba taking a great opening and becoming a success mostly on the stars box office pull, Eros saw some chance there and squeezed it close to Kasaba and unfortunately, that has not been done any good for the movie as it was an outright rejection from day 1.
