Pretham moves on consistently as it grosses 7.24 crore in 10 days in the Kerala box office. The horror comedy which took a surprising opening despite of average buzz scored well over the long weekend including the Independence day off. The encouraging word of mouth made sure that it remained steady on weekdays with major stations contributing very well. By its 10th day it has crossed the combo’s previous best Punyalan Agarbathis which grossed a 7.10 crore at that time, which itself was a superhit in 2013. The film is almost at 3.5 crore share and should easily cross 10 crore mark soon making it the 1st solo 10 crore grosser for Jayasuriya, who was in search of a solid hit
