Peruchazhi was the most talked about film before the release and had the most craze among the Onam releases. But the humongous hype and the mixed reports affected the movie. After taking a superb opening, the film slowed down during the pre-Onam period which is a must for any movie. But again showed decent growth during the vacation period. The film still needed an overall good performance which didn’t happen as Malabar area contributing very less even during the vacation season. Nevertheless the movie has performed okay during vacation as said before. But again, the whopping budget has been another task to attain and for that Peruchazhi has to hold well another week or two.
