Mammootty’s most awaited Gangster might be a disappointment in all means as far as output is concerned. But nevertheless it has got an earth shattering opening because of Mammootty’s stylish avatar and humongous hype surrounding it. The movie opened to packed houses in all major centres with even smaller centres registering a near houseful status. The plexes also hosted maximum number of shows like PVR, Kochi which had 15 shows. Thus the first day has bagged about 1.71 crore. The gangster has opened on a high note outside Kerala too which is not available right now. But from today there are huge drops across the state and much cannot be expected from here.
