Angry Babies Survives At The Box Office!
The romantic comedy Angry Babies featuring Anoop Menon and Bhavana in the lead has dropped drastically at the box office alarmingly. The film had a good promotion and a decent hype around it despite the lack of big stars around it. However, after an average start on day-1, the film fell drastically due to the negative reports from the audiences. The film had collected a meager 1.6 crores in its first week and after 4 weeks of its run the collection stands at 3 crores which is disappointing big time. The makers shall not incur losses though due to the low budget of the flick. The story of the film was by Anoop Menon but Krishna Poojapura’s screenplay which is always cliché as spoiled the fun as the film gets tedious and irritating after a point of time.

The film does have some decent performances from Anoop and Bhavana, but the torrid script means that they aren’t effective at all. The promos and posters promised a fun ride, but the flick is anything but that. Despite the lack of competition in the Ramadan period, the film hasn’t managed to put up enough numbers to end up as a hit film or even above average. Perhaps, if Anoop Menon had written the screenplay as well, there could have been some difference to the final product. However, that is only in hindsight. So, Angry Babies ends up as an average grosser at the box office.
